So... Last time I updated this was over spring break... it's summer now. O.O Sorry for being so inactive. It's not that I haven't been writing or drawing or anything. I've just been too lazy to post anything that I've done. That, and everything I've written is for projectBUTTERFLY, which I'm not posting here. *fail* So my apologies. I'll find something in the massive amount of files that I can put here. So, not much here. I'm not over memes yet. XD (I have one I'm going to post here that a friend and I made) Hm... I'm not sure what to put here. I have a lot of homework over the summer (eight books to read and eight papers and summaries and D: ) but I'll try and be active! *is working on english paper as she types* Um... Hm. I'm not sure what I have that I can update with, so what would you all like to see? I'm up for suggestions.

O.C Siblings Meme

1. So first, introduce your family to us! Give us a bit of background on their relationship and the whatnot!

I guess I’m going to do the Bresden sisters, as they are known to their pack I suppose. They go by the names of Adele (the oldest), Celine, Marie and Lynette (the youngest, better known as Chrono to my readers~). They’re Wolves born into the Heron pack of the Ardeidae division, and are well known for looking very much alike with only slight differences between the four of them looks-wise. Their personalities are very distinct and different, however, and in their younger days, they were very rarely seen apart from each other.

2. How do your characters feel about their family? Do they have anything to say about them?

Well, they’re not the closest people in the world, but they get along well and their family ties keep them in touch. Lynette and Adele are rather close to each other, and so are Celine in Marie. Even so, they argue as much as any other sisters would, and their fights…are epic… As for what they have to say~:

Adele: I really love them, but… They’re such a hassle. They never listen to a word I say. *pout*
Celine: They’re all a bunch of spoiled little brats. *huff*
Marie: *glares at Celine* As if you’re one to talk.
Lynette: They ask me why I don’t ever come back to visit, and I tell them I’m busy, but this is why. >.>

3. Siblings are rarely the same; what role do they play in their family? Oddball? Delinquent? Mother or Father figure? The Star? Parent’s Favorite? How do they feel about their role?

Adele is something of the mother figure to them, especially since their mother was very often busy when they were younger. Celine is the one that made it the farthest in life; she’s currently engaged and has plans to move into the city (though she hasn’t made up her mind), and is basically the star of their family. Marie has always looked up to Celine the most, and isn’t nearly as outgoing, but definitely seems to have a plan laid out in front of her. Lynette is considered the oddball of the family; she’s the most soft-spoken but the least down to earth; she’s the least optimistic and the most immature, and she doesn’t see eye to eye with most people. As for how they feel about it…

4. So, does this family get along? Or do they fight often? Why or why not?

They um…they don’t agree on a lot of things, and most of the time, they’re still very annoyed with each other. Even so, they love each other very much and they look out for each other, even if they have to look DEEP into their hearts to do it. XD

5. How many years apart are they? Are they close in age? Who’s the baby of the family?

Um…they’re pretty far apart in age. Adele and Celine are only a year apart. Marie is four years younger than Adele and three years younger than Celine, and Lynette is nine years younger than Adele, eight younger than Celine, and five years younger than Marie. So little Lynette is definitely the baby of the family. XD

6. What quirks do they enjoy about each other? Which do they dislike? Let them answer this question~

Adele: Well… Celine is so charismatic, and Marie is so sweet, and Lynnie is adorable, but Celine needs to get her priorities straight, Marie needs to think for herself and Lynnie needs an attitude adjustment…and to take better care of herself. >.<

Celine: Adele has always been there for all of us, Marie is my little star and Lynette is such a little fighter. Even so, Adele needs to mind her own business, Marie is annoying and Lynette thinks she knows everything when she doesn’t. >.>

Marie: Oh, I love all of them, I really do! I just… the older ones are always bossing me around, and Lynnie always got all the attention when we were little. ;-;

Lynette: ………………….. I guess they’re all right. Adele is really sweet, Celine seems to be able to handle herself and Marie is smart enough to make it on her own. But they all need to stop DOTING the way the do. *shudders*

7. So…do they look alike? Do they look nothing alike? Can you tell them apart? Can you tell they’re related?

Um, according to everyone they know, they all look exactly the same. Celine is the tallest, followed by Adele, then Marie and then Lynette, but there’s only a few inches difference. Celine and Adele have blue eyes and Marie and Lynette have pink ones, Marie’s hair has more gray in it than white, they have different figures and weights, and there are differences in their faces, but unless you know which one you’re looking for and said differences, it takes a lot to tell them apart. At their current ages, it’s easier, but when they were younger it was almost impossible. O.O

8. What’s the secret family recipe?!

Adele: I’m sworn to secrecy!

9. What was their childhood like together?

They spent a lot of their time looking out for each other and traveling around; Lynette was usually to weak to do much of anything so the older three would often play outside with other children. When they didn’t do that, they’d stay inside and play with her, and would often take turns watching her. They greatly enjoyed their time together, though, like any sisters, they fought a lot, hard and often. Fist fights were a common occurrence. They lived with their mother (Elena), their Aunt Miranda, their great grandmother Fleur, their grandmother Simone, and their grandfather Lionel. So they had a crowded home (wherever they were staying), and only one man in the house until their father came to visit. Fun times. XD

10. Do they have any pets?

Um, they’re Wolves. They find the human practice of keeping pets disgusting. O.O

11. So, any family curses? Illness that run in the family?

No curses that I know of. XD Accept that they have a heck of a lot of women in the family on their mother’s side. O.O As for illnesses, Chrono’s mother has always had lung and heart problems but medication was able to take care of it. The oldest three were lucky enough not to get the disease, but Lynette wasn’t, and she got it worse than her mother did—to top it off, being Requiem made it worse because the strain was contained there, but it’s also the only thing keeping her alive. O.O

12. What’s the family’s skeleton in the closet, hmmm? Any deep, dark secrets you care to reveal?

It’s Maaaaggggggiiiieeee’s fault! D: They’re biggest family secret is that the youngest daughter is the incarnation of death and property of Sanctuary.

13. Is there anything that this family of yours is well known for?

They’re well known in their pack as being one of the few families to have four girls back to back, and the powers of seers run in their family, so they often got visitors to have questions answered. Lynette was the only sister to inherent the powers of a seer (from her grandmother), but Adele was born with the equally valued power (classified in a similar category), of deciphering and manipulating dreams and nightmares; a kind of healing ability. In fact, I’ll list them here; they were all born with seer like powers:

Adele: As stated, she has the ability to decipher and manipulate dreams and nightmares, and also to read current thoughts.
Celine: She has the ability to read thoughts from the past in order to find hidden memories of things that have happened (distance is not an issue), and has the ability to interact with the dead on a certain level (the first one)
Marie: She can heal someone with a touch (depending on the level of the wound and it has to be visible; not something like illness or poison) and also read and feel and manipulate another person’s feelings and emotions
Lynette: She has the power of a seer and can see into the future, and she can also interact with the dead on all levels of interaction.

The Older Women: Their mother Adele’s power over dreams as well, and Celine’s ability to look into past memories. Their grandmother has the power of a seer like Chrono, and also the ability to read minds like Adele. Their great grandmother has the ability to manipulate and read (etc) emotions and heal someone like Marie. Their Aunt has the ability to interact with the dead on one level, and manipulate and read emotions. Their grandfather was married into the family so he was more of an observer. Thus, as previously stated, they constantly had visitors.


14. So, do they have any hobbies? Something they like to do together?

Um……when they were younger, they all like to play with dolls, and Celine taught the younger two how to embroider. They also like to sing together a lot, surprisingly enough.

15. Are their any distinct differences in their personalities?

Adele is the most down to earth; she’s the nicest, the most caring, and she doesn’t let herself get upset in front of the others. Celine is the most social and her sisters like to refer to her as "prim and proper". She’s also the most arrogant of them. Marie is attached to Celine at the hip, but the biggest difference in their personalities would be that Marie is much shyer than the other three. Lynette is the most stubborn, the quietest, and many people simply refer to her as the ‘odd’ one. She seems to be the least there.

16. What about similarities?

The two big things that they have in common are; they’re all used to getting their way, and they’re all very, very blunt.

17. What are their beliefs? Are they similar, or did they decide to branch out?

Celine and Marie seems to think alike, but seeing as Marie follows whatever Celine says, she doesn’t know what exactly her beliefs are. Adele’s beliefs are a little closer to Celine’s, and Lynette is…..weird. But her soul was created to have certain beliefs, so that’s not their fault. O.O

18. Last question! Anything they’d like to say?

Adele: I’d like to let everyone know that I love my family very much… No matter what I might say about them……… >.<
